Historic preservation funds available

The state Office of History and Archaeology is accepting applications through Oct. 21 for grants for historic preservation projects from certified local governments to be completed by Sept. 30, 2017.

The Historic Presercation Fund grant program provides up to 60 percent matching assistance for project costs.  Eligible projects include those focused on historic preservation planning, inventories, surveys, National Register nominations, public education, predevelopment, development, and property acquisition.
