For The Cordova Times

We know you’ve been shivering with antici … pation for this event.

Cordova Arts and Pageants will present the late-night double-feature picture show (and costume party) at 10 p.m. Oct. 28 at the North Star Theater.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show has inspired audiences both on the stage and the silver screen for over 40 years. In that time, this movie has amassed an incredible cult following that has created an experience well beyond the cinematic.

So, bring your party hat, your toast, your fishnets and high heels to this audience participation movie! Prop packs will be available for purchase if you can’t find your rubber gloves. As this is an R-rated movie, those 17 and younger must have a parent or guardian accompany them.

Before the screening, we invite you to join us for a Rocky Horror themed costume party at 8:30 p.m. in the Cordova Center. We will provide light appetizers and sell wine and beer for those 21 and up.

Prizes will be awarded for best costumes.

So, why don’t’cha stay for the night or maybe a bite. We hope to see you there!

Cordova Arts and Pageants, established in 1973, is the second oldest arts non-profit organization in Alaska.
