Law & Order: Nov. 4-10

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 11-4-16 thru 11-10-16. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

NOVEMBER 4, Friday

11:44 p.m. Individual came to the station to report that someone would not leave their residence. Officer responded and spoke with the individual who agreed to leave.

NOVEMBER 5, Saturday 

8:39 p.m. Caller reported being locked out of their residence. Responsible party and officer responded and were able to open the door.

NOVEMBER 6, Sunday

NOVEMBER 7, Monday

12:27 p.m. Hospital requested a medical transport to the airport. Ambulance responded and provided transport.

NOVEMBER 8, Tuesday

NOVEMBER 9, Wednesday

11:32 p.m. Caller reported seeing an open door at a business that they believed should be closed. Officer responded and cleared the building and secured the door. Responsible party was notified.

NOVEMBER 10, Thursday

6:14 a.m. Caller reported a possible burglary. Officer responded and searched the building and the surrounding area. No individuals were at the scene and nothing was disturbed. Officer contacted building owner.  9:17 a.m. Caller reported finding a substance they believed to be drugs. Officer responded and after inspection, determined the substance not to be drugs.

DMV HOURS:  Tuesday – Thurs from 8am to 3:30pm unless otherwise posted.  Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations, citations.
