Alaska’s sablefish (black cod) has been awarded continued certification under the Alaska Responsible Fisheries Management Certification Program, the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute has announced.
The Alaska sablefish fishery was first certified under ASMI’s RFM certification program in October 2011, and in early 2016 the reassessment process began.
