Law & Order: Jan. 6-12

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 1-6-17 thru 1-12-17. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

JANUARY 6, Friday: 

3:02 p.m. Caller reported that there was a small fire in a tenant’s apartment that had been put out and that they would like a fire officer to check it out. Fire officer responded cleared the scene. 4:05 p.m. Caller reported a theft. The case is under investigation.

JANUARY 8, Sunday:

1:44 p.m. Caller reported that an individual was outside intoxicated and causing a disturbance. Officer responded and assisted getting the individual to their residence. 10:19 a.m. Caller reported an intoxicated person was at their residence and would like them removed. Officer responded and transported the individual away from the residence.

JANUARY 9, Monday: 

Nothing to report

JANUARY 10, Tuesday:  

9:39 a.m. Caller reporting that they are going to have a controlled burn on their property.

JANUARY 11, Wednesday:  

10:50 p.m. Caller reported that there was a fuel leak at their residence. Fire department and officers responded and provided assistance.

JANUARY 12, Thursday:

DMV HOURS:  Tuesday – Thurs from 8am to 3:30pm unless otherwise posted.  Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations, citations.
