At Your Library: What did you do during the power outage?

What did you do during the power outage?

On Sunday, March 19th, Cordova experienced a planned power outage between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Some of our library patrons tacked up slips of paper describing their activities during that time:

  • “Hot dogs over the fire at a friend’s.”
  • “Play Legos in my room.”
  • “Took a nap”
  • “Thought a lot about a little cabin with a wood stove and a cup of coffee!”
  • “Took a long drive and saw the real beauty of Cordova in the snow…read a few chapters of a great book. Spent quality time with my kids.”
  • “We cat sitid [sic] for our friend.”
  • “I shoveled!”
  • “We snowshoed and skiing Mt Eccles bench. We also read books.”
  • “Reading.”
  • “Went to the Reluctant and played pool. Had fire cracker shrimp.”
  • “Organized my patio garden.”
  • “Sledding.”
