‘Braveheart’ HeART Show
Opening reception for Paula Payne’s newest painting series, The McNeil Bears, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 28 at The Reluctant Fisherman. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be provided. All paintings will be available for purchase.

Call for artists
Cordova Museum is asking for submissions to the annual Birds of Paradise show. The deadline to submit framed work to the museum is Friday, April 29. The exhibition will be open from May 4 – June 30. Contact the museum at 907-424-6665 for more information.

Sycamore open house

Keep calm, it’s just a drill
The Alaska Marine Highway System, CVFD-Fire and EMS, police, troopers, USFS, CCMC and USCG will hold a disaster drill from 9 a.m. – noon Saturday, April 29 at the Ferry Terminal.
