BOF issues 2019-2020 proposal book

Proposals to be considered by the Alaska Board of Fisheries during its 2019-2020 meeting cycle are now available for download at boardoffisheries.adfg.alaska.gov.

The 276 proposals up for review are for Lower Cook Inlet Finfish, Kodiak Finfish, Upper Cook Inlet Finfish, and Statewide (except for Southeast and Yakutat King and Tanner Crab, and Prince William Sound Tanner Crab) King and Tanner Crab regulatory meetings.

The Lower Cook Inlet meeting is set for Dec. 10-13 at the Dale R. Lindsey Railroad Facility and Cruise Ship Terminal in Seward. The comment deadline is Nov. 25.

Kodiak finfish are on the agenda for Jan. 11-14 at the Kodiak Convention Center. Comments are due by Dec. 27.

Upper Cook Inlet finfish proposals will be heard Feb. 7-20 at the Egan Convention Center in Anchorage. Comments are due by Jan. 23.

Statewide king and tanner crab and supplemental issues are on the agenda March 7-11 again at Anchorage’s Egan Convention Center. The comment deadline is Feb. 21.
