BOF will accept agenda change requests through Aug. 13

Alaska Board of Fisheries officials are reminding commercial fishing entities that the deadline for submissions for 2020/2021 meeting cycle agenda change requests is Aug. 13.

Agenda change requests may be submitted by the public, advisory committees and agencies for proposals on regulatory areas and species not set for deliberation in the current meeting cycle.

All ACRs will be reviewed at the board’s currently scheduled Oct. 15-18 work session at the Egan Convention Center in Anchorage.

Criteria for approving and scheduling an ACR for later in the meeting cycle must be for a fishery conservation purpose, to correct an error in a regulation or to correct an effect on a fishery that was unforeseen when a regulation was adopted.

ACRs may be sent online via http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=fisheriesboard.forms, mailed to ADF&G, Boards Support Section, P.O. Box 115526, Juneau, Alaska 99811-5526, emailed  dfg.bof.comments@alaska.gov, or faxed to 907- 465-6094.
