Saturday, December 31: By New Years, Cordova had managed on its own. Accessible only by water or air, the City had been plowing for the last three weeks, two 12-hour shifts, nonstop. According to Cordova Electric figures collected for town, since November 1, 176 inches of snow fell. That’s typically almost double that of airport National Weather Service data taken 13 miles out on the delta.
