The Cordova Times - Young Fire Fighter credit to department

College student and Cordova Volunteer Firefighter, Keegan Irving, recently received a letter of commendation from Fire Chief, Mike Hicks following a rescue effort in the Cordova Harbor. Sadly, in spite of a heroic effort on the part of responders from the Cordova Volunteer Fire Department, EMT Unit and others, the victim did not survive.
