The students of Close Up 2012 would like to extend a sincere thank you to Cordova Telephone Cooperative and Cordova Wireless Communications for their generous support of our program. This is the second year running that we have helped conduct the Iceworm “Birthday Party” and have reaped the benefits of their sponsorship. Fun was had by all at the fish pond, taking photos with Baby Iceworm and serving tasty homemade cake with ice cream. Younger participants tried their talents at the coloring contest, as well. It was a great celebration to follow the parade. A special thank you goes out to Jacque Rose who arrived early and helped us set up in the middle of a volleyball tournament no less!
