I\'m sure by now that most everyone in Cordova has noticed an increase in the amount of daylight we are receiving. Those who generally feel the effects of all the dark hours we experience from November through January are now smiling more and more. What a relief in just knowing the worst is over and nearly 24 hours of daily light isn\'t all that far off. I believe there is a perfectly sound reason that light and darkness affect us so much. In Genesis 1:3-4 “God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” It was into this light that mankind was first created and lived in until sin entered and allowed man to experience real darkness. Up until Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord they were literally “clothed” by light from God’s presence.
