The Cordova Times - As the Arctic summer nears end, concerns over oil drilling increase

Things aren't looking so good for Shell's plans to start drilling in the Arctic this summer. This week, the Natural Resource Defense Council published a new report that fuels criticism on the assumption that any oil company would be able to recover spilled oil from the Arctic's icy waters. The report comes out as the giant European company still awaits for the U.S. Coast Guard to certify an oil spill containment barge that has reportedly been leaking in its Washington shipyard.
