The Cordova Times - Copper Valley Telecom tests wind generation in Prince William Sound
In an effort to cut operational costs and improve its carbon footprint, Copper Valley Telecom is testing wind power on two locations in Prince William Sound. The company, based in Valdez, has been using solar power for almost 20 years and is now looking into the possibility of cutting down its propane consumption by wind-generated power.
