Even in this modern age where things move so fast and technology seems to transform our daily lives constantly, the old song, "I surrender all" still sums up a lot of what the Christian faith should be: a denial of self- centeredness and an embracing of God's plan to redeem us from certain eternal death, into eternal life. That begins with us recognizing that we have all fallen short of the Lord's requirements for entering heaven itself.
