The Cordova Times - New research vessel heading for home port in Seward

A new marine research vessel, the R/V Skuliaq, christened Oct. 13 at Marinette, WI, equipped for year-round operations in first-year ice, will be home ported in Seward and operated by fisheries scientists from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
