Hidden Treasures buy, sell, swap, giveaway

The Hidden Treasures buy, sell, swap or giveaway sponsored by the Cordova Community Baptist Church is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct 28 at the Homeport. Thirteen tables are available, call 907-424-7294 to reserve a table. All leftover items must be removed by 2:30 p.m. following the event. Tables are free.

Skeletons Dancing

The Cordova Parks and Recreation Department, Current Rhythms’ Dancers and the U.S. Coast Guard Spouses’ Association invite 5th-12th grade students to a haunted dance party Oct. 28 at Bidarki Rec Center. There will be a costume contest, prizes and a food court, with random hauntings and other surprises. The entry fee is $3. Doors open from 7-9 p.m. for 5th-8th graders; and 10 p.m. midnight for 9th-12th graders. For more information, contact Bidarki Recreation Center staff, 907-424-7282.
