Eric Critchlow will head MSC’s program in US

Eric Critchlow, a former executive with Lusamaerica, a California based distributor of domestic and imported seafoods, is the new U.S. program director for the Marine Stewardship Council.

MSC said Critchlow, who has over 35 years experience in the seafood industry, will lead MSC’s commercial, fisheries and communications teams in the U.S.

Critchlow began his career in the seafood industry as a troll salmon buyer and general production worker, and has also worked with Ocean Beauty and North Pacific Seafoods, MSC said in an announcement in mid-August.

MSC’s USA office is located in Seattle, and its global headquarters in London.
