Law & Order: Oct. 21-28

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 10-22-16 thru 10-27-16. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

OCTOBER 21, Friday 

7:44 a.m. Caller reported that someone had their vehicle plugged into their power. Officer responded and spoke to the owner of the vehicle. 10:49 a.m. Caller reported an elderly individual needed an ambulance. Officer and ambulance responded and transported the individual to CCMC. 9:24 p.m. Caller requesting an ambulance for an individual who had fallen. Ambulance responded and transported the individual to CCMC.

OCTOBER 22, Saturday 

6:53 p.m. Caller reported an oven fire in their residence. Fire department responded. 10:20 p.m. Officer notified dispatch that they had heard yelling coming from an apartment. Officer located the residence and spoke with individuals who reported the yelling was coming from the sleeping individual and that there was no emergency.

OCTOBER 23, Sunday

OCTOBER 24, Monday

11:59 a.m. CCMC requested a medical transport from the hospital to the airport. Ambulance responded and transported the individual.

OCTOBER 27, Thursday

11:18 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for an individual who had trouble breathing. Ambulance responded and transported the individual to CCMC. 5:41 p.m. Individual came to the station to report a theft. The case is under investigation. 8:01 p.m. Caller requested to speak to an officer about the possibility of improper credit card use. Officer responded and spoke to the caller.

DMV HOURS:  Tuesday – Thurs from 8am to 3:30pm unless otherwise posted.  Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations, citations.
