Kevin and Crystal Hughes of Cordova announce the birth of their son Liam Daniel Hughes. Liam was born at 12:50 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2016 at Geneva Woods “The Nest” Birth Center in Anchorage. He was delivered by certified nurse midwife Deborah Schneider. Liam weighed in at 7 pounds 13 ounces and 20 inches in length. His proud sister is eight-year-old Lea Hughes. His maternal grandparents are Skip and Robin Jensen of Cordova, and paternal grandparents are Allen Hughes of Cordova and Debra Spencer of Lake Tapps, Wash.
