Law & Order: Dec. 23-29

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 12-23-16 thru 12-29-16. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

DECEMBER 23, Friday: 

Nothing to report.

DECEMBER 24, Saturday: 

2:46 a.m. Caller reported that there had been a small fight and threatening words exchanged at their residence. Officer responded and interviewed the individuals involved. Individuals were not interested in pressing charges.

3:06 p.m. Caller reported finding drug paraphernalia. Officer responded and disposed of it.  3:56 p.m. Caller reported an individual that was drunk driving. Officer located the vehicle parked and unoccupied. 7:22 p.m. Caller reported an intoxicated individual walking on the highway. Officer patrolled area but was unable to locate the individual.

DECEMBER 26, Monday: 

10:43 a.m. Caller reported a missing dog. 11:45 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for an individual who had fallen on the ice and that had been knocked out. Ambulance responded but individual refused treatment.

DECEMBER 27, Tuesday:   

1:27 a.m. Caller reported an individual was throwing various items at their vehicle. Officer responded to area but the caller and suspect were no longer there. 9:22 a.m. Individual came to the station to report a theft. The case is under investigation. 6:26 Caller reported that an intoxicated person came into their establishment and was causing a scene. Officer responded to scene but the individual was no longer there.

DECEMBER 28, Wednesday: 

3:11 p.m. Caller reported that there were 3 loose dogs running around their neighborhood. Officer responded but the dogs were no longer there. 3:30 p.m. Caller reported that they had been harassed by an individual on an ATV. Officer spoke with the caller and the incident was documented.

DECEMBER 29, Thursday: 

6:53 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance because they were having breathing issues. Ambulance responded and transported the individual to the hospital.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS:  Tuesday – Thurs from 8am to 3:30pm unless otherwise posted.  Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations, citations.
