A draft schedule for the Alaska Marine Highway System for May through September 2018 is now available for public review, and the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is accepting comments through Nov. 10.
The draft schedule is based on the expected funding level for fiscal year 2019 and established community service needs and events. Scheduled service is similar to 2017 service, and maintains vessel regulatory and safety standards, state transportation officials said.
