Law & Order: Oct. 20-26, 2017

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 10-20-17 thru 10-26-17. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.                  

OCTOBER 20, Friday:

11:30 a.m. Caller reported he had lost his Passport.

OCTOBER 21, Saturday:

3:21 p.m. Caller reported he was in a motor vehicle accident on Power Creek Road. He is uninjured and will be moving the vehicle the next day.

OCTOBER 22, Sunday:

6:49 a.m. Caller reported gunshots out Whitshed Road. Officer was advised and investigated the situation. 8:18 p.m. Caller requested a welfare check be done on his wife. Officer spoke with caller’s wife finding everything to be okay.

OCTOBER 23, Monday:

9:07 a.m. Caller requested a welfare check. Officer responded finding all to be fine.

OCTOBER 24, Tuesday:

1:54 a.m. Caller reported individual would not leave the bar when asked. Officer responded finding the individual to be gone. 4:22 a.m. Caller reported a woman is being belligerent. Officer responded separating both parties for the night.

OCTOBER 25, Wednesday:

5:59 p.m. Caller requested an officer to assist in removing an individual from her residence. While officer was responding caller reported the individual had left and no longer needs assistance.

OCTOBER 26, Thursday:

12:16 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a medical transport. Ambulance responded transporting the patient.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
