Law & Order: Nov. 3-9, 2017

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 11-3-17 thru 11-9-17. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.                       

NOVEMBER 3, Friday:

10:01 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a medical transport to the airport. Ambulance responded transporting the patient. 3:25 p.m. Caller requested a welfare check. Officer responded requesting an ambulance for a woman who is incoherent. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC. 7:17 p.m. Caller reported someone attempted to enter her residence and then ran off. Officer responded investigating the situation.

NOVEMBER 4, Saturday:

4:09 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance to transport an individual to the airport. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to the airport.

NOVEMBER 5, Sunday:

7:47 p.m. Caller reported a man, who believes to be intoxicated, get into a vehicle and drive away. Officer responded patrolling the area.

NOVEMBER 6, Monday:

4:50 p.m. Caller reported two motorcycles running down Power Creek Road with no lights. Officer responded speaking to the drivers.

NOVEMBER 7, Tuesday:

1:01 a.m. Caller reported yelling at the pull out on Copper River Highway. Officer responded finding people looking at the northern lights and were excited. 9:12 p.m. Caller reported a loose dog on First Street. Officer responded finding the dog and taking it to the pound.

NOVEMBER 8, Wednesday:

8 a.m. Caller requested a welfare check on an individual’s children. Officer responded finding all to be fine. 3:56 p.m. Jack Reilly, age 38 of Cordova, was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Probation.

NOVEMBER 9, Thursday:

12:19 p.m. Officer requested an ambulance for a single vehicle roll-over at 2.5-mile Copper River Highway. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
