Laura Wiese and William (Billy) Slayton were wed by Rev. Robert Alamodin on Nov. 7, 2017 on Palauea Beach in Wailea-Makena, Hawaii. An island reception with immediate family followed at Gannon’s Restaurant in Wailea.
Laura Wiese, daughter of Cecilia and Max Wiese of Cordova, is a graduate of Cordova High School and University of Alaska Southeast and works at The Net Loft. Billy Slayton is the son of Jeffrey Slayton of Nashua, NH and Pamela Lanides of Ashburnham, MA. He graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School in Massachusetts and works for Alaska Airlines at Merle K. (Mudhole) Smith Airport.
The family invites Cordova to a post-wedding celebration in honor of the newlyweds at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16 at the Pioneer Igloo. It’s a potluck, so bring a dish to share and a beverage of your choosing.
