Law & Order: Dec. 15-21, 2017

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 12-15-17 thru 12-21-17. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.                     

DECEMBER 15, Friday:

Nothing to report.

DECEMBER 16, Saturday:

9:48 a.m. Caller reported a boat is sitting low in the water and thinks it may be taking on water. Harbor Master responded to the situation. 1:23 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for an adult male who is having chest pains and could not stand. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

DECEMBER 17, Sunday:

Nothing to report.

DECEMBER 18, Monday:

6:22 a.m. Received a fire alarm at the USCG Barracks. Fire Department responded finding the alarm to be false.

DECEMBER 19, Tuesday:

Nothing to report.

DECEMBER 20, Wednesday:

4:49 p.m. Individual came to the police station with a credit card she had found. Officer took in the card and is locating the owner of it.

DECEMBER 21, Thursday:

Nothing to report.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registration.
