Celebrate the month with books by authors born in January

Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien

The Cordova Public Library staff often reach out to other sources for book choices for our collection. We subscribe to the New York Times Bestseller’s list and a lot of us also utilize the website “Goodreads.”

Here is an interesting challenge for readers recently posted on the Goodreads Blogsite: “Read authors born in the month of January.”

We put together a list of some of these authors and books in our collection. Even if you can’t read them all – at least read one!

J.R.R. Tolkien: Lord of the Rings

JD Salinger: The Catcher in the Rye

Virginia Woolf: A Room of One’s Own; Mrs. Dalloway
