Law & Order: Jan. 12-18, 2018

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 1-12-18 thru 1-18-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

                        

JANUARY 12, Friday:

6:23 a.m. Caller requested assistance standing up. Ambulance responded assisting the caller. 4:08 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for his mother who has fallen and needed to go to the hospital. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC. 11:52 p.m. Caller reported loud music coming from a residence. Officer responded informing the residence to turn the music down.

 

JANUARY 13, Saturday:

Nothing to report.

JANUARY 14, Sunday:

7:14 p.m. Caller reported an individual was yelling obscenities and was intoxicated. Officer responded speaking to all parties separating them for the night.

 

JANUARY 15, Monday:

Nothing to report.

 

JANUARY 16, Tuesday:

12:01 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for her husband who is having diabetic problems and is shaking uncontrollably. Officer and ambulance responded.

 

JANUARY 17, Wednesday:

Nothing to report.

 

JANUARY 18, Thursday:

2:49 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for her husband who is on the floor and not responding. Ambulance responded finding the husband is fine and the caller to be confused. The ambulance transported the caller to CCMC for evaluation.

 

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
