Law & Order: Jan. 26-Feb. 1, 2018

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 1-26-18 thru 2-1-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

                        

JANUARY 26, Friday:

3:47 a.m. Caller reported a vehicle slid off the road and into a ditch. No injuries and no damage. Caller is making arrangements to tow the vehicle out.

 

JANUARY 27, Saturday:

2:35 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a man who went unconscious. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

JANUARY 28, Sunday:

Nothing to report.

 

JANUARY 29, Monday:

8:26 a.m. Caller reported an employee has not reported in yet and has not been seen or heard from. Responders found the persons vehicle was stuck in a snow drift at 25 mile Copper River Highway finding the subject safe.

 

JANUARY 30, Tuesday:

1:14 p.m. Caller reported neighbor being unruly and will not stop. Officer started an investigation. 2:33 p.m. Caller reported a man smelling of alcohol getting into a vehicle and drove away. Officer responded unable to locate the vehicle.

 

JANUARY 31, Wednesday:

12:23 a.m. Caller reported him and his son have been drinking and his son is becoming aggressive to him. Officer responded separating both parties for the night. 10:17 a.m. Caller reported his neighbor’s dog has been getting loose and has been aggressive while on the caller’s property. Officer responded finding the dogs and giving the owners a warning.

 

FEBRUARY 1, Thursday:

9:00 a.m. Caller requested an officer to trespass a man from his property. Officer responded trespassing the subject from the caller’s property. 12:50 p.m. Caller requested a welfare check on his neighbor. Officer responded unable to locate the subject until later.

 

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
