The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 2-9-18 thru 2-15-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
FEBRUARY 9, Friday:
5:52 a.m. Caller reported seeing flames coming up from a chimney. Fire department responded finding the owner doing a controlled hot burn to clean it out.
FEBRUARY 10, Saturday:

FEBRUARY 11, Sunday:
12:03 p.m. Caller reported a multiple vehicle accident on Copper River Highway with no injuries. Officer responded investigating the situation. 8:44 p.m. Caller reported someone is stealing his heating oil. Officer responded investigating the situation.
FEBRUARY 12, Monday:

FEBRUARY 13, Tuesday:
2:38 p.m. Caller reported someone is burning a fiberglass boat and the smoke is blowing into a residence. Fire Officer responded speaking to the owner of the boat.
FEBRUARY 14, Wednesday:
7:21 p.m. Caller requested an individual be trespassed from his residence. Officer responded trespassing the individual from the residence.

DMV HOURS: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday – Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
