Law & Order: Feb. 16-22

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 2-16-18 thru 2-22-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.                        

FEBRUARY 16, Friday:

10:30 a.m. Caller reported a vehicle fire at the Orca Water Plant. Fire Department responded extinguishing the fire.

FEBRUARY 17, Saturday:

8:53 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a basketball player with a hip injury. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

FEBRUARY 19, Monday:

12:00 p.m. Caller reported a burglary in progress at her house. Officers responded arresting Darrell Rollins, age 45 of Cordova, was arrested on Burglary in the First Degree and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.

FEBRUARY 20, Tuesday:

Nothing to report.

FEBRUARY 21, Wednesday:

9:49 p.m. Individual reported being harassed by a man. Officer responded investigating the situation.

FEBRUARY 22, Thursday:

Nothing to report.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
