Lady Wolverines finish regular season with sweep at SuValley

Cordova’s Lady Wolverines finished the regular season with a sweep of conference opponent SuValley on March 2-3.  CHS topped the Rams 36-17 and 52-18 on their home court, to finish the season with 11 wins and 11 losses.

Stifling defense keyed the Cordova wins.  The Lady Wolverines held SuValley to 2 points in the first half on Friday, and 3 points in the first quarter Saturday.  CHS led 18-2 at halftime in the first game, and 26-8 at halftime in the second game.

Abby Bourgeois and Inga Arvidson led Cordova with 8 points apiece in the first game.  The Vargas sisters, Samantha and Andrea, each had 15 points for Cordova in the rematch.
