Nominate a Watershed Hero!

Volunteers for Eyak Lake Clean Up Day collected a large pile of trash and pose for a photograph on Mavis Island causeway, on Eyak Lake in June, 2017.

Do you know someone who always speaks up for rivers and streams?  Or takes the extra step of keeping our rivers and streams healthy?

The Copper River Watershed Project wants to recognize the local heroes whose efforts help keep our public waters and lands thriving, and who inspire and help others to make a difference too.

Volunteers often labor quietly and go unrecognized.  We want to celebrate successes achieved for the benefit of the watershed and the people who make them possible.

Who is your Watershed Hero?
