Law & Order: April 6-12

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 4-6-18 thru 4-12-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.             

APRIL 6, Friday:

9:46 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a man with chest pain. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

APRIL 7, Saturday:

11:51 a.m. Individual reported his outboard engine had been stolen. Officer responded investigating the situation. 6:08 p.m. Caller reported a motorcycle speeding down Lake Ave. Officer responded arresting Kail Vanderpool, age 45 of Cordova, for DUI. 6:26 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a man with a foot injury. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

APRIL 8, Sunday:

5:03 p.m. Caller reported his daughter was stuck in a tree. Fire Department responded removing the girl from the tree.

APRIL 9, Monday:

Nothing to report.

APRIL 10, Tuesday:

Nothing to report.

APRIL 11, Wednesday:

Nothing to report.

APRIL 12, Thursday:

3:27 p.m. Caller reported a vehicle had been vandalized. Officer responded investigating the situation.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS:  Tuesday – Thurs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted.  Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations, citations.
