Law & Order: April 20-26

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 4-20-18 thru 4-26-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.           

APRIL 20, Friday:

12:50 a.m. Caller reported she was assaulted by her neighbor. Officer responded and caller did not want to press any charges. 2:21 a.m. Caller reported a gas spill on First Street. Fire Officer responded cleaning the spill.

APRIL 21, Saturday:

Nothing to report.

APRIL 22, Sunday:

9:24 a.m. Caller reported there was yelling and fighting in the parking lot at Mews Apartments. Officer responded investigating the situation.

APRIL 23, Monday:

7:34 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for her husband who needs assistance getting back into his bed. Ambulance responded assisting the patient. 5:08 a.m. Caller requested a welfare check. Officer responded finding everyone to be fine.

APRIL 24, Tuesday:

Nothing to report.

APRIL 25, Wednesday:

6:10 p.m. Caller reported led weights were stolen from a buoy. Officer responded investigating the situation.

APRIL 26, Thursday:

Nothing to report.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday – Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
