Law & Order: May 4-10

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 5-4-18 thru 5-10-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MAY 4, Friday:

Nothing to report.

MAY 5, Saturday:

9:51 a.m. Caller reported being stuck in an elevator. Fire Department responded rescuing the caller from the elevator.

MAY 6, Sunday:

Nothing to report.

MAY 7, Monday:

Nothing to report.

MAY 8, Tuesday:

4:08 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for her father. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

MAY 9, Wednesday:

9:15 a.m. Caller reported his vessel had been vandalized while he was out of town. Officer responded investigating the situation. 12:07 p.m. Caller reported their vessel lost power while out on the water. USCG was advised and assisted the vessel.         

MAY 10, Thursday:

Nothing to report.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday – Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
