U.S. Coast Guard officers in Valdez are asking commercial fishing vessel owners to call in advance if they are interested in having a boat inspection at Cordova between June and September.
The new cell phone number to request an exam is 907-795-5885.
Other USCG commercial fishing vessel examiner work numbers are 907-835-7226, 907-835-7235, 907-835-7265 and 907-835-7267.
When leaving a message please provide the caller’s full name, phone number, vessel name and vessel location.
Coast Guard exam trips will be scheduled depending on the number of interested vessels.
