Join Cordova Gear for an easy/beginner group bike ride at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
This is Cordova Gear’s second year hosting group bike rides, riding out Orca Road, Power Creek, towards Hartney Bay and Eyak River, to name a few. The rides usually last two hours and include a short briefing on safety and rules of the road.
Electric bikes, fat (tire) bikes and hybrid bikes are available to rent, and helmets can also be borrowed, free of charge. Bike rental rates for hybrid and fat (tire) bikes are $35 for two hours, $65 daily, $100 for two days and $325 weekly. Electric bikes, with speeds up to 25 mph, rent for $45 for two hours or $125 for 24 hours.
The group rides are scheduled for most Saturdays, year-round, weather and schedule permitting.
