Construction to begin on Adams Avenue

The Alaska Department of Transportation has prepared a letter of intent to award the Adams Avenue construction work to Wilson Construction, Cordova officials note in the city’s newsletter.

The project, including the reconstruction of utilities, sidewalks, and pavement, is expected to take four to six weeks depending on weather.

Once documents are submitted, approved and signed, mobilization will begin in late July or early August.

The work area will be barricaded, with traffic detoured, effecting the school and local businesses, so be alert for changed traffic patterns.
