Law & Order: Aug. 3-9

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 8-3-18 thru 8-9-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.              

AUGUST 3, Friday:

2:21 a.m. Caller reported a fight in the parking lot of the Reluctant Fisherman. Officer responded finding everyone had left. 8:20 p.m. David Burch, age 32 of Cordova, was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release. 11:05 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a man having a stroke. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

AUGUST 4, Saturday:

12:06 a.m. Caller reported a party would not break up after he asked them to. Officer responded breaking up the party. 11:50 a.m. U.S. Coast Guard requested an ambulance to transport a patient from Mile 13 to CCMC. Ambulance responded transporting the patient.

AUGUST 5, Sunday:

Nothing to report. 

AUGUST 6, Monday:

8:00 p.m. David Burch, age 32 of Cordova, was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release.    

AUGUST 7, Tuesday:

Nothing to report.

AUGUST 8, Wednesday:

1:40 a.m. Caller reported loud music and noise coming from a neighboring apartment. Officer responded requesting the resident to turn the music down. 2:10 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for her son who dislocated his elbow. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

AUGUST 9, Thursday:

Nothing to report.  

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
