Ryan Schuetze was appointed to fill a vacant seat in the Parks and Recreation Commission during the Aug. 15 meeting of the Cordova City Council.
The seat was set to expire in November of this year, but for efficiency, staff suggested the appointment go through November of 2021.
Mayor Clay Koplin’s appointment of Schuetze was approved by a vote of 4-0.
The commission’s next meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at the Cordova Center.
