Main Street in Cordova will experience a temporary water service shut off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m Tuesday, Sept. 4.
The city’s Public Works Department issued a notice that the interruption will affect Main Street between Adams and Council avenues.
The city water division will make repairs on a water main leak in front of Copper Valley Telecom during this time.
“This temporary interruption in service will be as brief as possible — your understanding and cooperation are appreciated,” the notice stated. “We suggest that you fill some containers with the water you may require during the shutdown.”
