Hunting app onX shows land boundaries

Hunting season officially started this past weekend as many hunters drove out the road, with air boats hitched and canoes strapped to their vehicles.

U.S. Forest Service Officer Andy Morse recommended people download the app, called onX Hunt, for smartphones that shows land ownership and topographical maps of the surrounding area and more.

The hunting application, supported by hunters in town, can layer different ownership maps so hunters can be sure they are legally harvesting.
