FVF Fairweather to service Cordova through Nov. 18

The Alaska Marine Highway’s fast ferry, FVF Fairweather, will service Cordova until Nov. 18.

The original schedule showed the Fairweather to begin service Sept. 14, but due to mechanical issues, the M/V Aurora delayed their departure to shipyard to continue servicing Cordova.

The M/V Aurora has left service and will return to Prince William Sound, picking up service again on Dec. 11.

There will be a gap in AMHS ferry service in PWS from Nov. 18 – Dec. 11.

Chenega Bay will have an extended service gap from Sept. 24 – Dec. 11.

Tatitlek will have an extended service gap from Sept. 12 – Jan. 1.
