At Your Library: Halloween – are you ready?

Decorations, costumes, autumn snacks and more

This time of year offers so many holidays filled with fun activities. Whether you are celebrating Halloween or holding a harvest festival, you’ll find all kinds of ideas in the books on the shelves in the Cordova Public Library. You can find costume ideas, decorations and recipe ideas – even spooky music sounds.

Try some of these titles:

  • Better Homes & Gardens Halloween: 101 Frightfully Fun Ideas
  • Tricks & Treats: The Ultimate Halloween Book by Deborah Harding
  • The Original Duct Tape Halloween Book by Jim and Tim, the duct tape guys. (Really! This book is full of ideas for disguises, decorations and costumes!)
  • Crafts to Make in Fall by Kathy Ross
  • Spooky Sounds for Halloween, a Martha Stewart Living CD

The Cordova Public Library is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Closed Mondays.
