The Cordova Public Library staff works hard to keep the freshest batch of good reads on our shelves for you. Debbie Carlson manages our orders with the McNaughton Company, a subsidiary of Brodart. This book lease program allows us to bring in bestsellers and then after a few years, either buy them at a discounted rate or move them out of the collection.

Here are some of the newly shelved adult books:

Non-Fiction:

  • Fly Girls: How Five Daring Women Defied All Odds and Made Aviation History*
  • Scarface and the Untouchable: Al Capone By Max Collins
  • The Tangled Tree by David Quammen

Fiction:

  • Field of Bones by Judith Jance*
  • Leverage in Death by J.D. Robb*
  • Foundryside: A Novel by Robert Bennett
  • Desolation Mountain by William Krueger*
  • Money Shot by Stuart Woods
  • Robert B. Parker’s Colorblind by Reed Coleman*
  • Tailspin by Sandra Brown*
  • Juror #3 by James Patterson*
