Woodrow steps in as ASMI’s interim executive director

Jeremy Woodrow, communications director for the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, will serve as interim executive director while a search is underway to fill the post being vacated by Alexa Tonkovich.

Woodrow joined ASMI as communications director in January 2017, after servicing as communications officer for the Alaska Department of Transportation.

Tonkovich, who will stay on through Dec. 21, is leaving ASMI to pursue a masters’ degree in international business.

ASMI plans to conduct a nationwide search for a new permanent executive director.
