Law & Order: Nov. 23-29

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 11-23-18 thru 11-29-18. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.                 

NOVEMBER 23, Friday:

1:10 a.m. Caller reported somebody had dumped an engine and other various junked items on the side of the road. An officer responded to investigate. 2:35 a.m. Caller reported a skiff floating from the Cordova Harbor. 6:48 p.m. Caller reported their husband was having medical issues. An ambulance responded to the residence and transported the patient to the hospital.

NOVEMBER 24, Saturday:

6:12 p.m. Caller reported that while walking, a dog rushed out and attacked their elderly lab. 11:22 p.m. Caller requested a welfare check for their friend who was intoxicated. An officer responded and determined that everything was okay.   

NOVEMBER 25, Sunday: 

Nothing to report.

NOVEMBER 26, Monday:

2:09 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a patient having a seizure. An ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital.

NOVEMBER 27, Tuesday:

Nothing to report.

NOVEMBER 28, Wednesday:

1:02 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance to transport them to the hospital. The ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital.

NOVEMBER 29, Thursday: 

12:23 a.m. Caller reported somebody on the ground unconscious. An ambulance responded to the scene and transported the patient to the hospital.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
