Larry Cotter, the long-time executive director of the Aleutian Pribilof Island Community Development Association, was honored by the fisheries industry on Dec. 7 in Anchorage with a party that included a performance by Anchorage Unangax, dancers who live in Anchorage, but represent all the Aleutian Pribilof Island villages. Their leader, Ethan Petticrew, helped revitalize the Atka dance group Atxam Taligisniikangis and several years ago began teaching the young Anchorage dancers.
